I have nothing bad to say about the product, it works great for my 13 year old Labrador who has liver problems. But I'm very disappointed by the product description for the chewables. My chocolate lab weighs 75lbs, when I ordered these I was under the impression I'd have enough to last me 30 days, as on the box it says for all dog sizes, but when I got these in the mail, there is a chart on the side that gives the dosage recommendation per day. For a dog weighing 75lbs you have to give them 2 1/2 per day, which I have no problem doing, but will cost more money than the regular pills per month. I just thought the product description was very misleading.
To help you out I'll give the chart recommendations per day:
Up to 6lbs - 1/4
7-15lbs - 1/2
16-30lbs - 1
31-45lbs - 1.5
46-60lbs - 2
61-75lbs - 2.5
76-90lbs - 3
91-105lbs - 3.5
over 105 - 4

Yoda is my 11 year old Schipperke dog at one year of age he started to have seizures and was started on phenabarb which after 4 years put him in liver failure. I started him on this product and milk thistle(Marin) took him off the phenabarb and also started him on Wellness white fish and sweet potato food only. In 1 year his liver function studies were normal AND NO seizures. After 2 years on this and the Marin I took him off of them, he started to have seizures again after 5 months and his liver functions started to change again. ( he has blood work every 6 months)
I am using this product again in the form called Denamarin chewable (it has the Denosyl, SAM-E for dogs and cats and the Marin, milk thistle, combined in 1 tablet)
Blood work again normal AND seizure free. He remains energtic and healthy on Wellness white fish.
